MDI has the distinguished advantage of being the 1st  Indian B-School to earn a Triple Crown accreditation from Association of MBAs (AMBA)- London, South Asian Quality Assurance System (SAQS)- Asia and National Board of Accreditation (NBA)- India. A total of 325 students participated in the placement process for the batch of 2011-13.
A total of 233 students enrolled in the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM), 58 students in the Post Graduate Programme in Human Resource Management (PGP-HRM) and 34 students in the Post Graduate Programme in International Management (PGP-IM) were part of the student pool for the final placement process.

Out of the total student strength of 325, 65 got placed during the lateral placement process and 48 accepted the Pre-placement offers74 regular recruiters and 80+ new recruiters made final offers to the students of MDI. These companies represent an incredible array of the most reputed and respected organizations, spanning almost all sectors of the Indian economy: Banking, Financial Services, Investment Banking, Consulting, FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, IT, Telecommunications, Pharmaceuticals and Media. A notable point was the fact that many of these were first-time recruiters.
The recruiters for PGPM included Accenture, Adidas, Airtel, AkzoNobel, Amazon, American Express,Asian Paints, Axis Bank, Bristlecone, Capgemini, Carlsberg, Castrol, Cisco, Citibank, Citigroup, Cognizant Business Consulting, Dabur, Dell, Deloitte, Dr.Reddy's Laboratories, eBay, Flipkart, Godrej, Goldman Sachs, Honeywell, HSBC, HT Media, ICICI, JP Morgan Chase, KPMG, Langham Capital, Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Michael Page, Nivea, Panasonic, PepsiCo, Pidilite, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Procter & Gamble, RBS, Reliance Industries, SBI Caps, Titan, Vodafone and Wipro Consumer Care among others.
Major recruiters for the PGP-HRM students were Aditya Birla Group, Anand Group, Axis Bank, BPCL, Cerebrus Consulting, Citibank, Deloitte, DSCL, Ernst & Young, Genpact, Hay Group, Hero MotoCorp, IBM, ICICI, Interglobe, IOCL, Larsen & Toubro, Michael Page, PeopleStrong, RPG, Tata Sons, Tata Advanced Systems, Times Group, TCS and Vodafone among others.
The PGP-IM recruiters included Accenture, Bristlecone, Capgemini, Cognizant, Dell, Deloitte, Eli Lilly, GroupM, HSBC, Interglobe, KPMG, Moser Baer, RBS, SBI Caps, Tata Advanced Systems, TCS, Vodafone and Wipro.

TISS Mumbai
The Master''s students of HRM&LR were successful in inviting companies from the FMGC/Manufacturing (Hindustan Unilever, Proctor & Gamble, Nestle, Nokia, Marico and Cadburys); Consulting (Ernst and Young, and Hewitt Associates); BFSI (Deutsche Bank, Axis Bank); and IT firms to the Institute for campus recruitment. With the participation of business houses like Tata Sons, RPG Group and Mahindra & Mahindra, it was a holistic portfolio of companies visiting the campus to recruit TISS students. All the students got placement; among them 10 got pre-placement offer and 2 got field placement offers.
The past recruiters at TISS are: Novartis, Johnson & Johnson, Cadbury​, Britannia, Deutsche Bank​, Crompton Greaves​, Deloitte Consulting, Microsoft etc,.
Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai is a premier institute of higher learning which was established in 1936, and has been offering a renowned 2-year Postgraduate Program in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations (erstwhile PMIR) since 1962. It is a NAAC 5 Star accredited Central Government Deemed University. Today, TISS enjoys national and international reputation for churning out the best HR talent around.
TISS conducted its Summer Placement Process for the HRM & LR batch on October 18, and October 19, 2013. The Placement Process was extremely successful with the entire batch of 60 getting placed in 1.5 days. All offers made were paid internship offers.The process witnessed the participation of regular recruiters like Asian Paints, Colgate-Palmolive, Deloitte, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Marico, Microsoft, Mondelez, etc. The process also saw a substantial increase in the number of first time recruiters on campus. Amazon, Bosch Manufacturing, CRISIL, Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (A Govt. of India Enterprise), HCL, Nomura, Philips, RIL and Sab Miller were all first time recruiters.

  1. average placement of MDI is hardly 10 Lakhs, dnt even ask abt median. none of these B Schools can be trusted now, MBA studies is more of a business in India.
